I lived here in 1992 and 1993. The apartment manager claimed to be a relative of Jay N. Tight end for the Cowboys. I just said wow that's cool but had my doubts. After telling her I was a Cowboy fan. She invited me to a family gathering while Jay was there. Her house was covered in Cowboys memorabilia. Jay showed up and autographed my hat and spoke with me for 15 minutes. Anyway that was cool but the apartments we're fairly new and looked new. I loved this place lots of great snake hunting at the end of the road in a heavy wooden area. 280 dollars a month for 1 bedroom 1 bath on the 2nd level. Long time ago. I had lots of fun at manatee Lanes bowling alley. I was on the run from Virginia living in Florida and working for cash like lots of others. Had fun on the run. Back then pain pills we're extremely easy to get and cheap. Floral City pharmacy was run by a old man that would take my hand written prescription on a paper towel. Fortunately I didn't overdose.
