Heard good things about Angelo's and yesterday i stopped in as I craved an Italian dessert. I noticed one that i actually had in a restaurant and asked the guy if that's the one that has the rum inside, to which he replied "oh yes" . I didn't hesitate and bought a couple because they were the best rum cakes i ever tasted. After dinner we plated these desserts and immediately was disappointed as the filling was not rum, but a watery liquid that was horrible. Honestly if the store worker never said they were rum filled and i just made the purchase on my own, i would of just never bought another, but because they specifically said they were, I was upset and felt i was lied to. I called the next day to complain and was informed that it was indeed a rum flavored water inside and if we wanted actual rum inside we would have to special order them. Anyways the store didn't really care and wouldn't swap for a new dessert even though we only had one bite. Its little things like this that one really gets a feel on how certain business's are and its definitely a place i wouldn't buy from again just on purpose. First impressions are very important and it definitely wasn't a good one.

This place give you all the homey vibes, reminding me of the old school Italian deli's in New York. I always leave here with a huge smile on my face and a 2 lb sandwich. If you're looking for the best deli in Florida, look no further!
