A Star is Born

This store and Neighborhood has declined precipitously in a few short years. This store is filthy despite many employees milling about aimlessly. Expired food on the shelves months past their expiration date and mentally ill and or homeless people roaming through the store and parking lot. Oh and lets not forget the brawling street people who come to this store due to its lax security to scream yell and fight and scare the living daylights out of people who just want to complete their weekly shopping in a safe clean store in peace. Unfortunately you cannot do that here. There has never been a day that I have been here where there wasn't a screaming baby , out of control child running amuck or fisticuffs breaking out between "locals". I hate to say this but this store attracts very bad people and elements from the worst parts of inner city Rochester. Even with police and "asset protection" present, it is very unsafe to shop here. Therefore I will no longer patronize Wegmans in or near any inner city. It is not safe! Now I understand why they closed all their stores in the city of Rochester except one, and utilize the Irondequoit PD and the RPD to provide security. Certain "people" always want to complain about "food deserts" but never the ghetto/ratchet behavior that causes people and companies to avoid investing in the city.

Thy say thy open intel 12AM I came 11:56 for some Milk for my daughter emergency and thy wouldn’t let me in and there were another customer that came before me as well thy wouldn’t let him in. Why post you open tell midnight and keep customers out!!! Bad service.

I love my experience with Wegmans Meals2Go! It is very easy to order, menu is very rich, food is always fresh! prices affordable! Staff super friendly! Wegmans at Titus is right by the corner and close to my house! I usually order subs and soup for my lunch! I would like to highlight one of the nicest people working there! This lady - Jamaira, is amazing and helpful! She definitely does above customer’s expectations! Since I place orders very often, very rarely there might be little delay, or something, which is absolutely normally and I understand. Even though, the way Jamaira handles situations is very professional! She was taking care of my order last week, filled cup with a soup, noticed that soup in the bowl is almost gone, even that was enough for my cup, she went to the kitchen and got fresh bowl of my favorite soup! I felt like this people really cares about customers! I did not even mind wait longer. Feel so warm atmosphere. By the way, just noticed this cute cafeteria was set up right by Meals2go. It looks so nice, not like even cafeteria, may be like Italian restaurant!

I always enjoy shopping there! The staff is so helpful and friendly. The store is clean and the products, especially produce are top notch. My cashier Todd was so friendly, energetic, helpful, and concerned about how he packed my groceries. I hope that I get him everytime I checkout! Thank you Wegmans for adding him to your already outstanding collection of employees! Simply AWESOME!
