We biked around. We looked at artifacts. We paddled our paddle boards. We had a picnic in the covered, screened porch. It was perfect even in the rain.

Very pretty and educational also if you want to come after closing time they have a neither walk right outside the gate that closes at sundown.

You can feel the history in the ruins, so many facts to learn.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT HAS GREAT POTENTIAL BUT THE NIGHT RANGER IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL. I have never encountered a park ranger with such horrible manners and attitude. My wife and I needed help instead of trying to help us he only cursed disrespected and tried to have us arrested. Its really a shame that such a beautiful place has such an ugly person overseeing it. I'm told the day Ranger is very nice so just go early nowhere near closing time if you do not want to be harassed or potentially arrested.

Yes. If it’s open.
If you are looking for a New England town go to Boca Grande. It is Gasparilla Island in Lee County, FL.
