Salvation Army helped me and my family a lot. I was a soldier from the McKeesport Corps. They never discriminates anyone. I suggest The critics keep the Salvation Army out of Politics.

Called about donating a dresser, unfortunately the dresser is very large and heavy and I am unable to remove it from the upstairs by myself. I was told to send pictures of the dresser and stairs and email it for review. I told them I would wait outside and I'm fully vaccinated. They said the turn in the stairs looked tight and they were concerned they couldn't "remove it safely", I told them it was brought in safely. It's not like it was hoisted in through a window on a crane. They still wanted to send someone out to preview it out but this wouldn't be for another week. The policy for entering the home has made the act of donation a bigger time waste and hassle than it's worth. This policy is an excuse to do less work and not have to lift and carry things.

I called the National Headquarters at the Salvation Army just now. After being interrogated as to what I wanted, I was told to call my local corps office. Our corps office is run my very effective officers, but the issue I had could only be handled nationally.

You are right! The Salvation Army is a fantastic organization. They have many free homeless shelters, provide FREE rehab, and will help as best as they can to help people stay in their homes. Not many other non-profits do that work.

I just saw "Salvation Army Wants White Donors To Offer ‘Sincere Apology’ For Their Racism." Are you freakin nuts? First of all in case you haven't noticed woke is on its way out. Send, I won't be tainting your pots with my white money anymore.

No the Salvation Army doesn't starve Anybody.

I admire and give to the salvation army, but I have noticed that in San Jose, California, bathrooms are not allowed open to the public anymore. I watched a woman who begged to use the restroom as she takes a diuretic, she was refused. Not right.
