I ordered an online textbook rental about a month ago and I still don't have access to it, despite sending in an email. The book isn't being shipped from the other side of the world, it's a pdf. In addition to all the problems this university is giving me, it's becoming comical.

As a transfer student from Valencia I was excited to check out the bookstore. I proceeded to go to the text book section to get some information. Let's just say I hope no other new students have to experience the customer service I did. It took 3 different staff members to acknowledge me while in line to offer assistance. The first literally was in front of me locked eyes with me and walked away. The 2nd just came and sat down again while I am in line in front of the desk and didn't say two words to me. I asked if she was a supervisor and she said kinda. Whatever that may mean. After explaining the terrible service I got she brushed off my concerns. So I asked again are you a supervisor she said no so I asked to speak with one. She then asked right now? I laughed. While she was gone the 3rd young lady came from the back with a big smile and asked if I was being helped. I told her thank you I was waiting for someone. I was finally able to express the lack of service to the supervisor whom was sweet and listened to my concerns. Please remember that you help fellow students and as someone new I was like a lost puppy. You have been new before and should know how overwhelming this journey is.

The people who work there are terrible and are not accommodating at all. They don’t care if your textbook gets lost and you have to do a few weeks without a book.
