I really don't understand all of the recent hate for this complex. I'm currently living in my 2nd unit within the complex and have nothing bad to say about it. The grounds are upkept, units are beautiful, and I've only had good experiences with the front office. I just moved from a 2/2 to a 1/1, and Nick from the office made the move seamless for me. They were even able to swap a newly signed lease for a different available unit at a cheaper price, better location. As for the noise, I've heard footsteps and occasional yelling from the neighbors above me but nothing worth complaining about. Some of these other reviews are extremely dramatic. Don't let them scare you off from what has been an amazing community for me.

UPDATE: Please listen to these reviews and do not move here. We moved out a couple of months ago and a few weeks ago got a notice saying we were not getting our deposit back AND were being changed another $300+ for a carpet stain that was there when we moved in. We moved to this unit from another unit in the complex while it was under different management and were not required to fill out an inspection. When we moved units we told the (previous) management about the stain and they told us they couldn’t replace it but they would make note of it. This information was not passed to the new current management. When we saw the bill we called the office and were told that this was our fault because “it’s always the tenants’ responsibility to fill out an inspection”. I voiced my frustration that since they’ve taken over management we not only were forced to cancel our wedding reception two weeks before the date, but are now being charged over $500 due to a lack of communication between precious and current management. The office told me I would most likely still have to pay for the damages, but they’d reach out to someone above them to see what they could do. That was weeks ago and we never heard from the office. We kept getting emails to pay the bill so we just paid over $300 and lost our deposit due to damages we did not make. First, let me say that if you are considering living here... run the opposite way! My husband and I have lived here (previously Bainbridge at Lake Shadow) for over a year. Up until a few weeks ago we had nothing but amazing things to say about this community. The complex was bought out a few weeks ago and things have changed DRASTICALLY. Next to no information was given to residents about this change in ownership by the new owners. For example, we had been in contact with the office for the past 4 months about reserving the amenities this month for our WEDDING after party and were told we just had to wait two weeks before the event to reserve due to Covid, which was fine. Today we called and were told by the office that the community has never offered reservations for any amenities and that we must be confused. We gave them names of people we talked to and were told those people never worked there. We are now completely out of a venue for our wedding reception and were given absolutely zero help. The conversation ended by the office employee telling us, “no worries. You’ll be fine, you’re young and can figure it out”. Please, save yourself money and frustration and find another place to live.

Besides the beauty of this community, I do not recommend living here. I feel Luna at lake shadow is no longer a safe place to live at this price tag! I have been living here for almost two years and since the new management took responsibilities (about a year ago) this community is going down so fast! if you want to live here, you need to consider the followings: 1. Management is not polite at all. They do not take responsibility and do not want to solve the issues you might have. Whatever problem you have they will ask you to call signal 88 to solve it. 2. The point of having signal88 patrolling in the area is to secure the place not being a factor of insecurity for residents! My experience: we were in the pool at 7:40 p.m. when the security guy arrived, asked which unit we were living, and informed us that the pool would close at dusk (dusk time was 8:24 p.m.). he was questioning everyone that where they are living because there were a bunch of people outside and inside of pool (I know he was doing his job because there were a bunch of people who were not living here) but suddenly at 7:50 pm he yelled: “guys you need to leave pool right now, it is closed”! the job of a security officer is giving residents a secure place not yelling at residents and forcing them to leave the amenities before the close time!  3. Pool, grill area, and clubhouse are useless during weekends. There are a lot of people who are not living here at all. Gathering all around, smoking and making chaos. Even if they are residents or guests, there should be some policy in place to prevent this situation and make it a place that is useful for all residents, not two or three residents and their bunch of guests! Recently, it has been taken to another level and I believe here is no longer even a safe place for a family and their kids! 4. Walls are super thin and you will hear your neighbor's noises like your neighbor's constant dog barking noise! 5. Valet Trash service is not working properly, they will skip pickup days easily but the office will charge you for a full service! I stopped by the office a couple of times to address these issues but the manager did absolutely nothing.

The front office staff is always blowing you off and pretending to care when no action is taken. Today people knocking on every door soliciting things. They tried to open my neighbors door so I called the front for awareness. Their response we'll send someone out. Didn't ask for a description, building, or anything. How can you look into an issue without knowing what you're looking for? Front office said yeah other people reported that. Then why is someone not taking action quickly? Feels very unsafe as time goes on. And I'm sure the response to any review I post will be "stop by the office to discuss" when it's simply a waste of time as no action is taken.
