Today was our first stop at Pickles and we were very presently surprised. My wife had the turkey pastrami and I had the Bronx Cheer (a combo sandwich). They were both HUGE and delicious!!! Kelly was our server and was on top of our needs the entire time. She explained menu items to us and was very friendly. This is a very family friendly restaurant. We'll be back for sure!!

Finally we decided to try this place. The decor brings you NY memories. Generous portions, the menu has plenty of options and there’s a full size bar. My table was much satisfied with the flavor and the service.

My wife loved her french dip, and she said the potato salad was very good. On the other hand, I was disappointed with the Brooklyn Reuben. Sure it was piled high with corned beef and ( to a somewhat lesser extent) pastrami, served on good grilled deli bread, but the meat was so lean it was DRY, and the sauerkraut was almost not there. Perhaps a little less corned beef and a little more pastrami would have helped, but I'm not sure. I will try the patty melt next time.

Let me swim in a vat of these otherworldly pickles! The prices were beyond reasonable - $8.99 for two plump and garnished dogs, plus side? In this economy? Ya better believe it! - and the taste was beyond compare. Fellow vegetarians, this is the rare veggie wrap that doesn't taste like it was made by someone who hates you. If everything else in Longwood shuts down, I only pray that Pickles remains. Amen.

I've always been treated well here. Hopefully it was just a bad day. Even so, the food is still worth it to me.
