Visited today for a passport appointment, Susie the clerk who assisted us was absolutely wonderful and the other employees seemed very knowledgeable, kind and helpful as they assisted other customers.

I was able to catch my mail lady and ask her to put my records in the shade on the bench on my porch, which is right next to where she tossed my collectable vinyl... right in the sun. The box clearly and nicely asks to take care of package and not to put directly in the sun. She gave me a round about response and did not agree to simple common courtesy when I asked if in the future to put it on the bench, which is 2 more feet + in the shade.

Go to the River Road main distribution center and get your answer there.
Just go to the front desk. And you will have to pay 25.00$ for a new one. But you can get one.

Any signs of it having been opened before you got it? If not I would suspect faulty packaging.
