There are several variables to this question. Some you control and some you don’t you will take an entrants exam; reading comprehension and math. Then an interview the following month. These you control score well on these you will receive a number ranking you against ALL others who have taken the test since the last hiring. Outside your control is how many apprentices they can afford to bring on that particular year and when they can bring them on. You score well and fall before the upcoming school year, you Might get your letter of acceptance within two months like I did. If your number is lower than what they bring in your test score is good for a year. Might have to take it and try again. Or hope they hire more later in the year if work demands. Good luck.
