This is a bad joke, right? You are talking about a government office, paid for, at least in part, by taxpayers' money, and you get rude and unprofessional workers working at the counter. The music is so blaringly loud that you have no idea whether or not they understood what you needed or not. This post office also does not sell any Philatelia. What happened to this important part of American culture that no post office in Fort Myers carries any first additions or collections? Finally, the line is always interminable, no matter what time of day you go. Don't even bother complaining to the office Postmaster, This extremely impolite and self-important man will find a million excuses as to why you should have had a pigeon hand deliver it, if you had truly wanted your package to get to its destination. Another shame for America's infrastructure.

Call Discovery village maybe the "residents" moved out. I've worked at many assisted living facilities and if one of our patients moved out or transferred to rehab we would sent their mail back. It's better if you call them directly and find out if they still live there or changed rooms. It might not be postal issue your having.
Yes as PO Boxes are in air conditioned lobby.
Do such online as such is easiest and fastest ,,, again they do have kit in USPS but easiest is to do online.
Go to USPS.com and there is 1-800 number to call. On your RECEIPT is local USPS phone mumber. Onli e tracking, enter tracking number, you can SEE WHERE your letter or package actually is. Starts from time ACCEPTED and checkpoints along the way..
