The track was well maintained, grounds were really clean. The entire experience of being there, parking, seating, the announcers, even the racers themselves was far better than a lot of tracks I have been to. The track is a short track, asphalt, low bank track. It was kept clean and debris free. All the staff I met was professional and nice. My only complaint would have to be the food at the end of the night when I ate was a little dry, but again at the end of the night it is also kind of expected.

What an incredible facility. As a kid, pops and I would get to a good many Saturday nights throughout the summer. Eventually the ownership lost interest and it closed. I thought that was the end of asphalt short track racing in Cambria/Somerset county...but like a Phoenix it rose from the ashes. The new owners and GM are dedicated and committed to putting on a good show, and the fans have noticed. Attendance week to week is better than I've ever seen. It seems each year they're adding more dates for bigger touring series to come through, or setting up a stage in the pits for a post race Clark's concert. This treasure of a track is heading in the right direction, and it's really all thanks to a dedicated group of individuals who pour all they have into the facility, and they have a great feel for what the fans want.

It’s a nice place to go and spend time with family and friends. The racing action is great to but y make u pay for parking and give u free ticket then have a special event every week where the ticket isn’t accepted. Me and family have been going there for years and now this year we quit going bc it’s pointless to have to pay for parking and get a ticket that’s useless. This place is going down hill and will end up like motordrome before long.

Can always check either facebook or their website for up to the date info. The website shows a green light of racing is on and red if not..
Just had a mist 25 min ago, sun out and the track is drying quickly.
Yes
If you miss the" Must See Sprints " today you missed 15 second lap racers.
Most likely the rain is supposed stop early afternoon. My advice double check before hand maybe call them or check there page for updates.
No they are $20 this weekend
Seems like a normal race day so the tickets are 10.00 a piece. You can usually get some free tickets at local area banks and other places as well. Also it is 5.00 to park but they give you 2 free tickets for another race that have no expiration date on them.
There was a delay but they are not cancelled as of now
No
Yes .. I believe it's down to the track championship tonight
As long as it's not a special event
As far as I know you are not allowed to carry any beverages or containers into the race usually they check you at the gate even ladies handbags
Unless there is a huge stormfront rolling in they don't cancel too far ahead of time.
So far they are but watch there Twitter account and on there website for updates. Or join there text and you will get a text if they cancel
Not yet. But check on the website. The weather is going to be a weird one so I might say rain and miss the track. I know I have been watching all day to see what's going to happen. The best I would say is take a chance a go to the track. But you can also get on there text message list so if there is a called race you will get a text.
Autogragh night is August 17th according to their schedule

Yes you can.
Yes
Yes 1/2 way Thru hot laps only 1 set being done then heats
It has been moved to sept 22 willbe the make up datr and also the night of champions.
The closest thing would be right off the somerset exit. There are plenty of hotels there. Also you could check ligoner as well. Depending on what direction you are coming from.
You would have to contact the speedway to find out. Last week was cancelled completely, before anyone even showed up, so I believe they will reimburse the tickets. If a certain number of feature races are completed, then they do not offer raincheck reimbursement tickets.
I believe that children 5 and under get in free
You used to be allowed. Not anymore. No food. No drinks. Not even a bottle of water.
Contact the racetrack
There are storms i. The area and there are out of state racers and its not fair to havr them cone if they cant race.
Should be able to use them for next week.
Yes racers pub I believe it is called
Look in Somerset for closest campgrounds.
