Thank You so much, this lady is amazing. She was able to point me into the right direction after being over charged by a landlord for moving.

Called to ask about setting up a phone consultation...she was SO nice and helpful, didn't even need to set one up, she helped me on the spot and referred me to the type of lawyer I need for my multifaceted case. Made a confusing decision so much easier. Thank you!

I called and tried to get a over the phone consultation I started to explain my situation and the lady that answered the phone stopped me and stated that she doesn't need to hear the back story and that she tries to maximize her time my situation to me is kind of complicated so it involves me telling the story she didn't try to listen to me so I hung up I'm not writing this review to discredit anyone's work but to let it be known that whomever I spoke with was not patient as I think a lawyer should be

Questions & Answers

Hi! Landlords are elderly and ill and totally forgetful. Have had to call several times and continue to call regarding things that need to be repaired and they say they'll take care of it and they do not. At wits end right now!!

Hi Mrs. Jones, thank you for contacting the firm. I am not currently taking new clients, so if you are in need of legal assistance, please feel free to reach out to alternate counsel. To give you some direction, I recommend that you send your landlords a "7-Day Notice to Landlord" via Certified Mail. You can find the form on the clerk's website. Be sure to keep a fully executed copy of your letter and your Certified Mail stub to prove when the letter is delivered. If they do not initiate the repair(s) that are need in good faith within 7 days after the notice is delivered, you officially have the right to file an action against them at which time I recommend retaining counsel to help you. If you cannot find the form and/or you feel more comfortable if an attorney does it for you, again, please contact alternate counsel who can assist you. I hope that this information is helpful for you! Jena Cauley

Good morning, to anyone who can give me some advice on how to get out of a lease agreement with my apartment agents. Due to several flooding of the toilet and tubs the last event before we decide we needed to get out before more damage done! Thx

The rental laws in Florida seem to benefit the landlord. However go see First Coast. They got my deposit back when I moved, the landlord said damaged the bathroom floor but it pre existing. Take lots of pictures, that will help. Good luck !
