This is about one of the nurses, named CARMELA. We got called in by Carmela to come to the treatment room. She began by asking me the reason I brought my daughter (6 yo) there. I tried to explain to her the best I could, but she kept cutting me off. I managed to tell her that my daughter has been coughing, and having chest and nose congestion for about 2 months now but no fever. And that the symptoms only happens at night time and early morning. Carmela looked at my daughter and said “Well, she looks fine to me. I haven’t hear her coughing since she got here” and then continue taking her vitals. Again, I explained to Carmela, that the symptoms only happens at night time and early morning. But she didn’t seem to be listening and started asking more questions directly to my daughter. But Carmela lacked of bedside manner made my daughter nervous. Carmela faced her laptop and with her back on me, asked me AGAIN - with an exasperated and annoyed tone of voice, what was wrong with my daughter because she couldn’t see anything wrong with her and that she needs to tell the doctor what’s wrong with her. I had been as courteous and nice as possible dealing with Carmela, but at this point I had had enough with her whole attitude. She’s been nothing but being rude, impatience and condescending towards my daughter and I. She made me feel as I was one of those hysteria moms. I managed to -AGAIN- explain to Carmela that my daughter has been coughing, and having chest and nose congestion for about 2 months now but no fever. And that the symptoms only happens at night time and early morning. This time, I spoke with a polite but stern, and a bit louder so that SHE CAN START LISTENING, STOP CUTTING ME OFF, AND THEN ASKING ME THE SAME QUESTIONS FOR THE 4TH TIMES! She was about to cut me off mid-sentence but I kept talking over her. When we left the office, my daughter asked me, why the nurse was mean and asking me the same questions so many times! Even my daughter is a better listener and she's only 6! I like this office and the staff, and we love Dr. Usmani. We’ve been coming in here since my daughter was an infant, and never experienced this kind of treatment before. I am now actively looking for another pediatrician.

There’s a reason they have a low rating… they never know what they are talking about and I always end up having to go to a different doctor. They are also extremely judgmental.

Dr Patel is the most patient thorough doctor I have met. She literally saved my sons life after Southlake hospital sent him home doing no test. She realized he was actually internally bleeding and had a VERY rare virus. But unfortunately you don’t always get her They have a new Dr on their staff and I do NOT recommend any to see her. Her bed side manner is terrible!! Absolutely the rudest woman. Doesn’t listen to you as a parent to what is happening. Do not recommend her at all!! Unfortunately this place is going down!!

I’ve been taking my kids to Clermont Pediatrics for almost 10 years. I’ve tolerated the hour plus wait each time because the doctors are very knowledgeable and caring ,but after today I will never attend there. I went to take my daughter for a wellness check up, when I get there one of the medical assistance told me I have a $700 bill from 2020 that I need to pay, can you imagine going every couple of months taking your kids to the doctor nothing being said and then all of a sudden “My child can’t see the doctor if I don’t pay the bill”This is the most low class shameful pediatric office. They can’t keep workers because they pay them too cheap, my daughter was over due for several shots since January which over the phone they told me she’s update. My other daughter was giving first dose of HPV shot without me being told so, I just saw it on the immunization records . I didn’t mind the HPV shot but they never informed me they were giving it to her on that specific visit. Please don’t take your kids to this shameful place, who knows what type of mistake their over worked employees could make.
