I had my baby shower here this past weekend. It turned out beautiful thanks to the help of my family however, I’d never have another event here. Evelyn is extremely overbearing. At viewing, she listened to our entire conversation and texted me afterwards advising were weren’t to hang things up etc. which is exactly what we were talking about during our self guided visit(she rescheduled my appointment and wasn’t present for the second one that SHE chose the time for and we had to let ourselves in and out). We signed a contract agreeing we would be clean and out by 6:00 PM the day of my event and she texted the DAY OF my event advising to start cleaning up at 5:15 PM so that we can be out by 6:00 PM. Common sense right? I had better things to worry about. How can you tell someone when to end their event? As long as they are out by the time agreed upon that is all that matters. Venue is also over priced in my opinion. It was nice. The space is nice. Had no issues physically, just her personality and mine didn’t mix. The fact that she watches/listens in on your events as well is off putting as well.

The refrigerator didn’t work I had to buy ice to cool my drinks down, communication with the party person wasn’t the best the venue it’s self is beautiful but the hassle of dealing with no refrigerator was a deal breaker for me so if you choose to rent from here make sure you ask for a running fridge.

Great place for a small gathering! Rented it out for our rehearsal dinner in November and it was exactly what we needed. If you are looking for a room to host a party in, I highly recommend the Party Place!
