The doctor and staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, I purchased a one year supply of contacts (12 pairs) and I received a text the following week that they were ready for me to pick up. I had to ask special permission from my boss to be able take a long lunch break that day because it's the only opportunity I have to pick them up this week, due to my work schedule and because the only day off I have is Sunday (when the office is closed), and it's an hour drive round trip from my work. When I got to the office, I was informed that only my right-eye lenses came in, and that the rest of my order would be in next week. Obviously, only one eye does me absolutely no good. Why was this information not included in the text I received? Or why wasn't I just contacted the following week, when my entire order is available to be picked up? Gas is $4.00 a gallon right now and I needlessly spent an hour driving, when this very easily could have been avoided.

I needed contact lenses so I made an appointment and was seen by Dr. Cottone who did a very thorough and complete exam. One of the staff even cleaned and adjusted my glasses. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

A comprehensive eye exam involves a series of comfortable and pain-free tests that offer a close-up look at your eye health and visual function. Between having all the tests performed and discussing the results with our eye doctor, you can expect your visit to last up to an hour.
It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.
While it’s always a good idea to have an annual eye exam, how often an eye exam is needed depends on several factors. A patient’s age, family and personal medical histories, a previous eye injury, existing eye conditions, and environmental or occupational factors determine the recommended frequency. The American Optometric Association offers specific guidelines for both children and adults. As your trusted partner in care, our office will discuss the most appropriate schedule to protect the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.
