First time back since COVID, there are no servers, they don't bring the food to your table, there are upcharges for sauces, the menu has been decimated, they have so few staff that the don't bother to even read the orders correctly, and I wouldn't bother eating inside ever again. Oh and the trash cans are so small you can't clear your own table for them. If you like the food, just drive through.

The food wasnt bad but just the atmosphere you are expected to place your order at a touch screen go pick up your food and then clear your table and then you are asked to leave a tip no thank you when I'm doing all the work no tip will be given

Not your typical Steak 'n Shake. Fries and shakes were great, but the burger was so greasy it was dripping. The wrapping was completely soaked. We don't get this often as we are from NY and just came back for a visit, a bit disappointed.

They have a new kiosk system, then they call your number and you come pick it up from a counter. They ignore you for the most part and don't interact with the customers at all. They don't seem to care like they did before. I found a piece of plastic in my basket under my fries. I almost ate it if I hadn't looked down I would have, they acted like they never saw a piece of plastic before, and walked away and said nothing more. Had to ask for a replacement fry wasn't offered. Personally I don't care for the new way they have steak and shake setup in Edwardsville. Seems they went on the cheaper side of things now. Masks aren't required by customers, but employees still wear them. The Kiosk is very confusing if you haven't used it before, ask for help before you get a massive order. Eat well!
