They wouldn’t let my family and I look at any dogs a few weeks ago and now they say we cannot adopt anymore animals from there ever again which I think is stupid and unfair to us. Would not recommend adopting your animals here because if you return one animal they treat you like trash. They also said they would decide to put down the dog if they deemed him unfit for adoption which is so stupid and heartless of someone. Thankfully the universe was on my side and he was eventually put back up for adoption and he was later adopted which warms my heart
Butch Handy
Picked up dog that we were going to foster. Dog seemed well taken care of while in their care.
Daddy Bear
Thank you for taking in the little lost boy this morning. Staff was friendly, and intake process was easy. Hope he gets the care he needs.

I took a stray pregnant cat in a lady said they we're gonna put her down due to over crowding and lack of staff, rude and heartless, so y'all still doing that?

We do not provide wellness checkups. We provide the 1-year rabies shot for $10.
Idk where you live but Wentworth Animal Hospital can help and they are the best
Yes, you are more than welcome to come socialize with our animals.
Maybe you might have to go to the shelter and ask
I don't know of anyone who is interested in your pet pig sorry. I would call the animal rescue shelter in your area. I feel sure they can help you out...good luck❤
I know that they have other out of state dog rescue networks. They are constantly going to try to save their animals from being put down! Good luck and explain to them your wishes!❤
I don't work there but I adopted my best friend there...give them a call. They are so helpful🐶💝🎈
Rabies shots are $10 for a one year vaccination. We do not offer nail trims. You may contact your local vet or groomer for pricing.
There are almost always kittens at the shelter!
They dont but they have a Labrador they are amazing dogs
No if they are positive for some illnesses such as FIV.
We adopted about 3 weeks ago. We went it picked out cat. Filled out paper work and paid $15. If the cat has not been fixed fr my understanding you can't take it home that day but in a week so he can be fixed.
Hi Chris. I'm sorry that I'm just seeing your message. I recently changed phones and my questions are still coming up on my old phone! Please reach out to the shelter. They would be happy to answer your questions about the homeless pets. Take care!
There is a minimum 72-hour hold for strays
$15 for cats, $110 for puppies. All adoption fees can be found on the website.
Contact friends of Eden animal rescue. They have a food pantry that can help you get supplies. (336)627-5746
No sorry all spay/ neuter applications must be paper applications. you can come in anytime during our hours of operation to fill one out. we are open monday-friday from 9am-12pm and from 1-430pm or saturdays from 1-430pm.
All of our available dogs can be viewed on our website https://www.rockinghamcountyanimalshelter.org/adoption-dogs.
Idk if they were adopted yet , but I gave up 2 pit/boxer females around 3 months !
They never know what animals are going to come in. They are usually found running loose or turned over by owners that cant handle them anymore or don't want them. They do get small breed dogs that may be mixed with those breeds. You just have to check and im sure if you talk to someone and leave your name/number they could notify you if they did get a pup in that matches what you are looking for.
$65 for cats old enough. However, you must live in Rockingham county to go through the shelter for their program. Must fill out the proper paperwork and schedule the appointment ahead of time. Surgeries are done on the second Monday of each month & they are dropped off at the shelter, then transported to Planned pethood in Greensboro, & picked up at the shelter the same day. $10 fee if rabies vaccination proof is not provided.
The next Clinic should be August 12th, but you should call the shelter to confirm that
You will need to call to obtain that information. (336)394-0075
I don't know ask them
Is unwanted pregnancy a problem with your senior citizens? This comes with your adoption performed by a local veterinarian.
I had to pay 80.00 to get all my male animals fixed. They charge 80.00 per animal and it is in the hospital in front of the animal shelter...
Also put on Craigslist
I have some
They are open Saturday but with limited hours. They don't open for adoption until 1pm everyday but are open till 5pm
Starting at $65
I would call them and ask to see if they do
Absolutely! There are always senior dogs at the shelter in need of a home! Just the other day there was an old beagle there who was very calm, he would make a great pet.
Not sure but i personally would think so
All sizes. But i m not sure about the little tiny ones. They have medium ;alot of medium. Couple large
They close at five so it's from like 8 to 5 but they close at 2pm and open up back at 3pm to 5pm
