Service appointment was easy to make and was scheduled on date requested. Service advisor reviewed the services I requested and ensured they were completed. My vehicle was ready at time requested.

I made an appointment because my trunk button is broken. They gave me a 8 am slot and asked if I would stay or leave the car. I said I'd probably leave the car the night before to assure it'd be there on time that day. My husband and I dropped the car the previous night. When it was 12:30 pm the next day, I started getting nervous because I hadn't yet heard anything, so I called. I was told my car hadn't been looked at yet because people waiting came before me. I was extremely frustrated by this because we went out of our way to drop the car the night before. If I knew my car would be seen at 1-2 pm I could've more conveniently dropped it that day. What was the point of having an appointment time? Again, I would've waited myself if I knew that was the way to cut in line in front of all the other appointments. When I finally got a call back that afternoon, I was told the price of the repair and it seemed high to me. So I wasn't comfortable authorizing the work until I got a second price. I haven't had time to get the 2nd price yet, so I'm not really sure if it's a fair price. But even if the price is consistent with other repair shops, I will unlikely ever bring the car back there because of what happened this time with my appointment time. I wish in general, this repair was covered under warranty, as there was no incident or accident which could've caused the trunk button to break. The person at Nissan Montgomeryville suggested I broke the button by pushing it too hard, which I know was not the case. I probably should've known a while ago something was wrong with my trunk, as it started sticking long before the button completely broke. But that is not the prroblem of your service center. My pathfinder hasn't been nearly as reliable as our older Rogue and I feel perhaps the Nissan quality just isn't as good anymore. Either way, it's pretty unlikely I'll return to Montgomeryville Nissan.

Montgomerville Nissan, last I knew, requires masks and social distancing, but they don't appear to be overly strict about it.
It's best if you call them and ask for the service department. They would be able to give you a better idea. You could also ask your local mechanic so you know if the dealer is over charging you by a lot.
