Absolute perfection! This is just plain good home cooking. It is 100% comfort food and I'm here for it! Also, I forgive them for taking me out of 1st place for Macaroni and cheese in my little son's rankings :) The customer service was impeccable. There were no forced pitches or platitudes. I really enjoyed my visit here and I can't wait to go back. Worth every penny.

Friendly service but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the bourbon chicken, greens, rice and beans, and candied yams. Everything, except the yams, had a similar taste, like the same seasoning was used. It was a different flavor, one that I can't put my taste bud on, but I didn't like it. The yams didn't have much flavor. Husband had the fried chicken, greens, blackeye peas, and rice and gravy. He wasn't impressed either. The dining area wasn't all put together and that's okay, but keep it clean and swept. No excuse for dirty tables and floors.

Well let me tell you...I LOVE me some good soul food! Sunday Dinners Soul Food restaurant does NOT disappoint! My husband had their meatloaf, greens, cabbage and dressing. His tastebuds have changed since he started his cancer treatments. Watching him eat, one would have thought he hadn't eaten in a few days! I'm the picky eater but I know what I like and how I like it. I had their yams, mac & cheese and fried chicken. Food was SUPERB! The atmosphere is laid back and the staff make you feel like you're at home! I highly, highly recommend you pay them a visit!

The food was great. We have visited on prior occasions and really enjoyed the tasty food (that we don't get to eat very often). …

Yes it is! The owner was behind the counter working side by side with her employees. They all had excellent customer service skills. The reviews were a little sketchy but I went and took a chance anyway. I really enjoyed my entire meal of smothered pork chops, dressing w/gravy, mac & cheese and cabbage. I will go back again and take my mother.

Hi, does the red beans and rice have meat in it?

When we first opened I hired cooks who just couldn't get it right..so I the owner had to step in and take over..and have been cooking all the food since. I hate that I had negative reviews but..I am the master cook now. Please come try us and see for yourself.
