Worst ppl running the place..lady who is there doesnt know how to treat customers..and also the food is stale there specially the short eats and stuff..

The lady in kitchen is rude, isn’t very considerate of children’s palates (they don’t necessarily like all the spicy food) and seems to have forgotten Sri Lankan hospitality, especially considering 99% of other restaurants in the US would have accommodated us. Moreover, a good reminder this shouldn’t be just a job - it’s a services job.

Apey Kade means "My Shop" in Sri Lankan dialect. Although the place was small, the food was excellent, fresh and fulfilling to the hearts content. The coffee itself is a must try and so are the snacks and the main course. The rice pack wrapped in banana leaf is a must try. The owner was very patient and took time to explain to us the various menu items and how the items got their name. If you plan to visit, please keep in mind that the food is spicy and if your palette is not used to it, then you should ask the owner for alternatives. I for sure will definitely be going back to try the other items in their menu.
