We came here because of all the hype and while the ice cream was good, it was not my favorite. The setting is really cool set out next to the dairy barn. I tried my very first dish or Superman ice cream. We also got a dark cherry and a mint chocolate chip to try. The line was quite long, but moved along pretty well.

At Moomers, you receive your age percentage off of your item (up to a $6.00 value) on your Birthday! (Moomers honors your half birthday if they are closed on your real birthday).
I would suggest you don't go, but you will be missing out on some of the best ice cream you have ever eaten. Homemade or not!!!
Other places in Michigan carry Moomer's. You can search on their website for who else does. However, most places are within the locale of Traverse City. We ordered some prior to departing for home near Chicago and they assisted by including vold packs for our cooler. Super nice people!

If you mean outside of Moomers itself (which is also in Traverse City) Meijer, Family Fare, and Tom's supermarkets all carry pints of Moomers ice cream. Downtown, lots of stores serve Moomers ice cream like Cherry Republic.
I believe they open in March.
East Bay Pizza (pizza/ice cream shop) has some Moomers ice cream; it's across from the Woodland Creek Furniture store.
Thats just a temporary flavor. You can always call them to see what their flavor of the week/month is.
They are constantly changing their flavors. You go once and come back the next week and they will be different.
