Dr. Chang is a very nice and knowable vet. My cat usually doesn't like vets and will let the vet's know. But she remained calm with Dr..Chang, thank you Dr. For helping my cat.

Our family is new to Salinas, and we initiated service with AHS for our two dogs. The care and customer service was excellent. However, today one of my dogs has a concerning symptom, and I was told that there are no openings, even for emergencies, for the rest of the month (at least the next 2 1/2 weeks). The emergency vets in the area are also full. My experience, therefore, is that AHS is good for routine, scheduled care, but is not able to provide care when emergencies come up.

Thank you for the great question. We only see cats and dogs at this time. There is the Avian and Exotic Clinic in Monterey.

This is an acute, emergency sort of situation. Please contact an emergency veterinarian. I hope you get the help you need!

I found a dog, I don't really have money for a vet. I feel bad for this little guy. Do we have to pay? Also, do you guys cure respiratory infections in turtles? And if yes how much?

You should call them, if you are looking to see if the dog is chipped that is usually a free service. Actual veterinary care does require payment.
