These people are horrible they put me in a contract and told me I was going to pay 21 a month well I was organizing my pay book for last year and found out that they were charging me 2 to three times a month instead of once a month. They can’t be trusted and they don’t give a dam about people what so ever. They wouldn’t let me cancel the contract because they said that was only for the first three months even though I have the paperwork to prove it so instead they sent it to claims.

The gym itself, equipment and such: 4/5 stars. Nice place. Has pretty much all the equipment you need As for the franchise, -1/5 stars. You basically can't cancel for the life of you. Even though I just went though a major life change, I am still required to pay them for 4 more months, even though I haven't been there in a couple of months and all I want to do is cancel..

I haven't been a member of, or been to an anytime fitness since 2017/18. So approximately 5 years. Today, I randomly had a "general manager" text my personal phone number and tell me that my account was past due. The account was something that my step mom signed me up for (with her card) when I was in high school. I let the general manager know that, and that I had talked to reps in the past, and that it should all be taken care of and cancelled. He said that if I didn't come in or send a letter they were going to "send it to collections." It has been 5 years... and I haven't heard from anyone in at least 1-2 years. The last I heard, everything was fine and they were trying to sell me a new membership.

I have been trapped into a year contract with the promises of unlimited hours of tanning and because I work 3rd shift, I thought this was perfect. Only to find out, well covid didn't allow ANY access to tan, and when that lifted a bit, I find out tanning is only available whenever a staff member is there. I had ONE opportunity to tan (which was an extremely weak bed) when someone accidentally left the tanning room door unlocked. ONE TIME. Other times I've went NO STAFF AVAILABLE. And don't bother calling cuz no one will well answer. I can't wait to turn in my"key" and end this contract and stop my BIWEEKLY charges of almost $18 The machines looked well enough for an average gym workout... nothing special and I noticed how there mustn't be housekeeping, that staff must have those duties and they fail miserable because it's truly disgusting.
