Although I first rated this residence 5 starts when I first moved in a year ago, I've been forced to reduce this rating to 2 starts 1 year later. When I first moved in, Linea was the ideal place to live. It was a place where young professionals could meet each other and have a good time. The building organized lots of fun events, and the rules were not very strict. This truly worked well. The management was also great. The concierges were truly friendly and I called many of them my friends. However, things have changed dramatically. There was a shooting in the building several months back. Although this is no fault of the building (shootings happen everywhere in LA), what happened after the shooting is unfortunate. The entire front desk staff was gutted, and was replaced several times over. With each replacement, I feel the quality has gone down. The front desk no longer really cares about the residents or wants to be their friends. The building has also become much more strict to the point where it is no longer enjoyable to live here. Gatherings on the roof are shut down almost immediately. People are forced out of the hot tub every night right at 10PM. You receive noise complaints even before quite hours start. It is simply no longer enjoyable to live here. Oh and also, the rent has gone up quite a lot. To put it into perspective, towards the end of my stay here, I was paying almost $4000 USD for a 1 bedroom. The reason I was initially ok putting up with the expensive rent was because of the community, people I met, and fun events around the building. Now that none of that is possible, I will be moving out soon.

If you are a tenant, please communicate well with your hired staff/workers and have them park in a secured location. The tenants here do not ever want to provide parking for their own workers/deliveries/business affiliates/handymen etc. Many of the working class have been ticketed at this location. if you are doing a job here, please communicate with the concierge where to secure your vehicle, because the clients will not care about you. Also, be aware of corrupt police officers. They have a quota to fill and are ticketing people left and right around this location.

Just moved in about a week ago, absolutely love this place. its clean, communication with leasing office is excellent, places are updating and modern. Amenities are incredible with amazing views. Worth every penny to live here in my personal opinion.

HORRIBLE LEASING STAFF. Valerie in particular was EXTREMELY RUDE and made sure that the start of my living here was off to a sour start. For background context, these living accommodations  were booked for me because I am relocating for a new job, therefore I did not tour the facility prior to moving in. Upon checking in, I mentioned that I was booked for accommodations by my corporate relocation company, Valerie gave me the keys to my apartment and garage access key..... no property map, no introduction to facilities, no garage map. Furthermore, she did not ask for my name or any form of identification before giving me the keys to the apartment, which raises a lot of questions and concerns about security and due diligence to ensure resident safety.... This concern came up again when after spending over an hour driving through the very difficult to navigate parking garage, Valerie reluctantly gave me a copy of the parking garage map which clearly had someone's confirmation number written on it, that she carelessly crossed out before handing me the map. I explained that I was uncomfortable taking the map with another resident's information on it and she carelessly just said "well this is the only map I have". After I parked my car, which was assigned in a different building than my residence, I began my search for my apartment. After asking several residents for help, I returned to the leasing office to ask for support and on my way I again bumped into Valerie. I gave feedback that it would be helpful for residents who have not toured the premises to receive a property map upon check-in and she responded with several excuses including shifting blame on the relocation company. When I rebutted her blame shifting and pointed out that it's reasonable to expect that the property staff should assist residents with the check-in process, she immediately turned away and walked into an elevator. When I asked her for help she VERY RUDELY said "This conversation is not proactive" (who knows what that means....) and walked out of the elevator and stormed back into the leasing office. The concierge (Shout out to Regina!) was very kind and helped me get accommodated into my apartment (over 2 hours after I had first arrived). If this awful check-in experience is a representation of how the leasing staff and property management treats their tenants then NO ONE should waste their money renting here. As I sat in the lobby trying to get a hold of my relocation company, several other members of the leasing staff walked through the lobby and NO ONE offered to help. Do NOT spend your hard earned money here. Find a place that respects and values its residents!
