Guests are able to browse through many photo albums and other historical documents. This museum is rich in the culture and life of railroading in the 20th century.

Small town charm. A jewel. The John Henry / Railroad carvings alone are worth the stop. Price is free, donations graciously accepted. Chessie System, Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad material abounds. Documents, photographs, memorabilia, and railroad related items galore. If you're looking to climb aboard railroad cars and engines? Skip this one. There aren't any. If you're looking for a glimpse into the past as far as railroading in Hinton and West Virginia, then you won't be disappointed. I was very glad I stopped.
