It's back to school time! I'm glad we went to buy our daughter's full-size mattress early. We bought her a soft TempurPedic Pro Adapt Soft full-size mattress. We received a $300 shopping credit that we used to get a mattress protector and pillows. Mike Paso greeted us warmly and navigated us through the process. We bought our new king-size TempurPedic mattress set at this store 2 years ago. We won't shop for a mattress anywhere else! Great people, great delivery service.

Questions & Answers

How should I clean my mattress?

Sleep First Mattress | Aug 18, 2022
Sleep First Mattress | Aug 18, 2022

The best and most simple way to keep your mattress clean is by using a mattress protector. As an added bonus, they're moisture-wicking, temperature regulating, and hypo-allergenic. Other cleaning methods include vacuuming your mattress and airing it out near a window. Use caution with cleaning products, as many can actually degrade your mattress and cause it to age faster.

Is a firm mattress better for my back?

Sleep First Mattress | Jul 19, 2022

Not always. Though old school chiropractors used to swear that firm mattresses were the way to go for back support, that's not quite true. Firmness and support are actually two different things: firmness has to do with the top layer of the mattress, whereas support has to do with the lower layers. It's very possible to have a soft mattress with lots of support. When choosing between firm and soft, go with what s most comfortable for you!

What is an adjustable base?

An adjustable base is a great way to increase the comfort and functionality of your bed. Essentially, it's a movable foundation that can shift the positioning of your head and legs. Adjustable bases allow for even more comfort and support than a regular bed, particularly for sleepers that have trouble lying comfortably. Click here to learn more.

What is a hybrid mattress?

Good question! A hybrid mattress is a hybridization between an old-school spring mattress and a more modern foam mattress. Most hybrid mattresses have individually pocketed coils as well as a memory foam and/or latex top, blending luxurious comfort with good old-fashioned support. Because of this, they work well for most every type of sleeper. This, as well as their ability to minimize motion transfer, makes them a fantastic choice for couples. What size mattress should I get? What sizes do you carry?

Sleep First Mattress | Apr 20, 2022
Sleep First Mattress | Apr 20, 2022

That depends! In general, there are three main things to think about when it comes time to choose a size for your mattress: how many people will be sleeping on the mattress, the size of those people, and the dimensions of the bedroom. Bigger mattress sizes like Queens, Kings and California Kings are better when there are more people and/or a bigger space, while smaller sizes like Twin and Full /Double are better for single sleepers and/or smaller spaces. How long will my mattress last?

Sleep First Mattress | Mar 21, 2022
Sleep First Mattress | Mar 21, 2022

Though it may be tempting to believe you and your mattress will be together forever, eventually every mattress must be replaced. Most mattresses will need to be replaced after 7-10 years, or even sooner if you re experiencing discomfort or disturbances during sleep, or your mattress is showing obvious signs of sagging or other wear-and-tear.
