I love this place!!! Very quiet and serene. It has heated cabins, showers and bathrooms that are handicapped accessable as well as campsites for tents, rv's or whatever you have. It's a beautiful place! 💖

Great place to escape the valley Heat. Secluded quiet ( usually) . Better during the week then on the weekends. Don the campground host is great! Just a great place to relax. But please don't tell anybody.

Tehachapi Mountain Park is such a beautiful, peaceful and serene getaway. It's conveniently located 10 minutes from town and is also very clean and well maintained. I absolutely enjoy it.

It's $18. You pay at the little box to the left when you drive in. All the information is on the signs there.
The most Wildlife I have seen there in years has been deers but I'm pretty sure they do have other Wildlife there always have to be cautious beautiful place highly recommend it
No, but its snowed late last night, early this morning.
Not sure.... I've never taken one there. They probably have hookups somewhere there.
Yes they are
Usually only closes when the roads are unsafe. Sometimes the upper roads and campsites will be blocked off while the lower are open.
It's first come first serve and it's all done there on paper.
I don't think so
There was just a drop box to drop in payment with an envelope when we went. I saw no rangers or people working there.
Depends on the campsite. Would recommend scouting ahead to determine where you are most comfortable. Note there is no running water at all.
Yes because of the ice on the road.
I drive a minivan and it was pretty tight. The road just to get there has a few somewhat tight and blind turns. Also, due to all the snow and soft mud, the parking spot was a nightmare to back out of.
Yes there is snow right now but no public access at the time because of the roads being to icey
Yes infact it's open right now with no restrictions.
not in the regular family camp area, for that you just you pay near the entrance. Cabins and the group camp require reservations. Read more: https://www.kerncounty.com/gsd/parks/tehachapi.aspx
Yes, there's Brite Lake , about 6 miles away
Yes. Sky's clearing.
Yes but roads closed
Some. I was up there yesterday. Too little for sledding. Way too many people from out of town trying..
Some you saw but not now. High in the mountains it is some now.
No, it's currently $18 a night and that includes 1 vehicle and 1 trailer per site. If you plan on just doing a day trip for hiking and such, there is parking. I have never seen anyone pay for a day trip.
