I should have gotten the gentleman's name but, whoever was there on 9/1/2022 was a cool dude. He had a great attitude and was kind for someone working in crazy heat.

Choose any other recycling center, this one WILL short you. The place used to be decent, but the new guys they have working there don't understand the scale they use. The last time I went, they kept going back and forth between our cans and the guy next to us, and ended up giving OVER HALF of what we should have gotten back to someone else.

Lousy web site. Tried to log in to see if the sites accepted car batteries. Message back from web page says error 404, site not available. Typical poor service from this company

Long hair guy working at the can and bottle recycling will swear in front of your kids. First and last time for me. This must be a stressful job.

Not anymore.
Yes, needs tape on both sides.
Yes, they do pay for crv cans.
No they cannot, they would need to go to the main dump facility in Placerville
Yes they do charge by cubic foot though
They do not pay; old computers are junk; you just dropped them off.
yes
Completely disagree. They are helpful and courteous. You just need to follow the rules! A small price to pay to have this great resource in our community
9:30-12:30, 1:30-3:30
Yes, and the plastic caps all need to be removed and discarded from the plastic bottles. You can separate the alum and plastic while you're there into two different cans if you want, but there's less pressure on you if you sort them before bringing them in.
At the main facility (disposing of trash, and general recycling), no. However there is a redemption center located the corner of Truck St and Hwy 49 (look for a yard with blue bins). Days and hours are Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am to 4:00pm.
No, but there is a reduced rate per yard compared to the trash rate.
no. they do not
Paint, oil and other caustic household liquids are taken to the Bass Lake fire station; I believe it's the first and third Saturday. Check the website for dates and times.
No, only green waste, cardboard, electronic waste, reimburable recycle (cans, plastic crv). No charge for the above and money back in crv. See the website for details about curbside pickup of what you need.

That's the street near Green Valley, kind of behind the plaza that has the saloon?
Go to the Latrobe recycle. They have a green waste bin.
