There is a clear difference between the way cars are treated, and the way semi trucks are treated. Don't tell me they're busy, because we were literally the only vehicle here. What's with the guy with the Napoleon complex?! During the entire encounter I felt his aggressive behavior. When I took a step back, he seemed encouraged to continued. Avoid on Saturday mornings, holidays, and the day before major holidays. Or go very early. Aside from this, I have always been treated with respect, professionalism, and efficiency. Granted, I am a US citizen. I studied in Canada and now live there on a work permit. I use this crossing frequently, when returning to my native NYC-area to visit family. I usually have my cat with me, which has never been a problem. I always carry vaccination papers for her, obviously. Sometimes I am asked why I live in Canada, but have never been given any problems about it.
