This is about as close to Texas BBQ this far North. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the drinks kept our whistles whet. We did the sampler plate for two and didn't come close to finishing it. If what I've said Thursday doesn't sell you on the Riverhouse, then stop by for the view. I will definitely be back.

I was just visiting from Texas. I would bet there's live music at least every weekend, this place was awesome! A feel good atmosphere !
Dined at Riverhouse on Feb 5, 2021. Servers and staff seemed good about wearing masks tables were well spaced apart and 6 person limit per table was respected.
In think they are open year around. Big sky is even more a winter resort than it is a summer one.

No, they have a big bar area, a terrific deck with river and mountain views, and a great outdoor area with gas fire pits to occupy your time while you wait for a table. They give out table beeper so you can roam around while waiting.
