This is the best snow cone place in SLC. It's family run and the employees are always great, super friendly, and make really good snow cones. They layer the flavoring so that it's more consistent throughout throughout the snow cone and not flavorless in certain regions. It also has the best grape flavor of any of the places in salt lake.

We took our kids here last week. I love the ice cream bottom yum! The kids love that they offer tons of creative options. Great family outing.

We absolutely loved our visit to Snow Shack! The service was outstanding and we loved the yummy flavor combinations!!! One of the best things was that there was plenty of flavoring in the ice!!!! There was full flavor to the very last bite!!!! This is a HUGE deal in my book!!! I was initially scared to suck any flavor through my straw because I didn’t want flavorless ice at the bottom… but don’t worry about that at Snow Shack!!! They are generous with their flavor!!! Additionally, there are lots of nice seating options and a cool shady spot to sit in back of the Shack which was super nice since it was HOT!!! 🥵 Overall… it was a refreshing and delicious experience. I highly recommend you visit often!!!!

I have been here a bunch of times now and have had such a great experience each time. I love the wide variety of flavors (raspberry and lemon are my personal favorites), the workers are so friendly and efficient, and I love that I can get a Diet Coke there too! This is my favorite place to get a treat, so happy to have a locally owned snow cone shop in my neighborhood!

Questions & Answers

Do they sell snow cones during the school year/on the first day of school?

I think they sell them until the weather gets cold, correct me if I'm wrong. Hope that helps:)
