2-stars (vs only 1) because the service reps are always friendly. I wish I could leave a good review - but if you have a Chrysler vehicle in Monterey, you are in for nothing but headaches if you need service (and let's face it - FCA vehicles need a lot of service, they aren't every reliable). 1. The service department has a very high turnover rate, and they are clearly understaffed. If you try to call them on the phone - you are very lucky to get anyone on the line, ever. If your car breaks down and is undrivable, be prepared to wait several days before they can diagnose it...in the meantime you're without a car. If it needs repair, be prepared to wait several days to repair it, every single time (I've had my 1 year old van in 3 times in the last year, it's always days, even for minor fixes that only take a couple man hours to fix). I'm selling my Chrysler Pacifica soon, it's too unreliable (which might be okay if you could get quick service, but you can't) In the past year my 1-year old van has been out of commission (undrivable) for 1 week, then 6 weeks, then 1 week. (8 weeks out of 52 on a brand new van, that means it's out of commission on average 15% of the time. And in two cases it was because they just couldn't get to fixing it in a timely manner, and the 6 week time was because the part was back-ordered by 6 weeks - because apparently that part breaks all the time and the factory can't keep up with the demand to make new parts for their unreliable vehicles. The warranty isn't worth much if you need to wait a week to get a minor fix that should normally only take an hour or two.

I brought my van here for service on my memory seats. They never called me back after drop off. I called to find out it would be $200 for them to figure it out. I said no and picked up my van. When I got in it, I noticed someone had changed my lock and lighting settings. These are not near or have anything to do with the memory seat settings. One thing that only a dealer can change was the doors auto locking once the car in moving. This was disabled and I called the service man, manager and gm and not one of these persons called me back. I showed up and had to wait an hour for them to put it back as it was before my visit. Terrible customer service, or really a lack of it altogether. I would give them a negative star if it were possible. I will go to Salinas dealership next time.

We drove well over 4 hours to purchase our new Ram from Seaside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. It was worth it! Richard, CJ and the rest of the team were friendly, knowledgeable, low key and made trading in our old vehicle then purchasing the new super easy. It was honestly the best buying experience we've ever had! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great deal and excellent customer service.

Took my car in for a check engine light and every single day for a week they told me the work would be completed the next day. Ended up paying $1K for the work just for the light to come back on while pulling out of the lot. Called back in to get them to finish and they said they couldn't schedule me for weeks out. Just go to Salinas instead if you can.
