The range is free for public use. To become a Woodley Park archery member, there is a $20 membership to help support the programs and maintenance on the range.
No, equipment is not rented out at any time. Equipment is only available for use during our free classes on Wednesday evening or Saturday morning.
Scouts can reserve time on the short range with a WPA instructor for scout activities, but groups and individuals cannot reserve spots in the open community classes.
I'd also advise not bringing too heavy of a bow, they're using hay for a backstop and a lot of compound users are getting arrows stuck in the wood behind the hay.

No. Crossbows are not allowed to be shot on this range. For that matter, broadheaded arrows are a no-go as well.
For public use, the range is open dawn to dusk 7 days a week 365 days per year unless there is a tournament or event going on that closes the entire range. That, however, is rare.
