Made a phone call 2 weeks prior to make an appointment for a service but when I got there, they didn't have me on the schedule. Fortunately I was there early morning so they squeezed me in and got it done quickly. Staff at the service department was nice. But low rating because I was checking out new cars on the showroom and they still have 4k mark ups. Hyundai and Kia have already warned dealers not to do this awhile back and they continue to do it.

Asked about buying an EV6 and the internet sales manager was upfront and honest. 3-4 month wait plus a markup. I won't be purchasing a car from them but I respect that they were upfront and honest. Would be a sale if it wasn't for the shortage.

BUYER BEWARE! If you want to PAY THOUSANDS MORE for your car and get BOTTOM DOLLAR FOR TRADE IN, THEY WILL LOVE YOU AT CONCORD KIA. If I would have bought my car at Concord Kia... 4K mark-up from Concord Kia plus 3-4k less value on my trade in = 7-8k easy saved with a little research and for not buying from Chris at Concord Kia. We were on the search for Kia Forte, which Chris at concord Kia wanted to sell with 4k markup and gave us a quote for our current vehicle on our trade in, at 5k less than KBB listed for our car. We got a SECOND OPINION NEXT DAY after our visit to concord Kia at another Kia dealership, they quoted just under 1k KBB listing for trade in value. We have been informed from an alternate dealer that Kia fortes specifically are made in Mexico, which doesn't have the same supply issues as the models coming from over seas. Therefore, this other dealer is NOT marking them up like other KIA models and we JUST PAID STICKER PRICE THE SAME CAR (4k LESS THAN CONCORD KIA) WITH NO MARK UP with a 1k less KBB trade in value for my vehicle. I just saved thousands literally, and got the exact car I wanted. BE SMART AND RESEARCH YOURSELF and be sure to get second or third opinions. Chris told us this is 'just the way it is right now' concerning the mark up. Also said that they never check KBB with any condition other that 'good' even though our trade-in was well within 'very good' condition according to KBB standards (and other kia dealers). Chris also said, concerning my low mileage, that used car buyers don't care about low miles, they just want the car they want. This was one of his reasons for lowering the value on my trade in. Funny none of the other dealers had this opinion...the whole process was shady.. very very shady..

Reminds me why I don't buy new cars at dealers. I was ready to purchase a EV6 at MSRP set by Kia...but then found out the dealer put a 16% dealer markup on it. Very short sighted sales strategy. Kia dealers could really make a good long term business from EVs but they'll not get as many first time customers by gouging people on their first experience. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable but unfortunately having to sell cars the old fashioned way.
