Overall, very positive experience renting at 6 Market Street! My studio's reasonably priced and spacious, with all amenities included; no pest or cleanliness issues, heating system worked wonderfully over the winter, and great water pressure. Jessie was very professional throughout the leasing process, and Jay responded immediately to the only maintenance issue I've had in my year at Spaulding - which was just clean water leaking from the toilet base. I would warn anyone looking to rent at 6-8 Market that, while the location and affordability is great, neighboring student tenants can expectedly be a bit lousy. Location, price, and space makes up for it though!

Great landlord. Great people. I'm a tenant of 3 years and they have always responded to requests on the day of or the next day; very few issues over the years that needed handling anyway. They checked in as needed, but never overbearing. The best renting experience that I've had. Would definitely refer to a friend...do you want to be my friend?

Great place to rent an apartment from! The apartments are clean and are a decent size. The landlords consistently keep up with maintenance with the apartments. If there are any issues with the apartment, the landlords are quick to get someone to fix it. Also, the landlords usually answer back fairly quickly to any messages or phone calls. The rent per month is fairly priced, especially considering that most amenities are included with the rent. Overall I am extremely happy that I am renting my apartment from Spaulding apartments and I have had a wonderful experience so far. I highly recommend to rent from here!

I was a tenant of Jay's and Jessie's for about two years in college and afterward. Throughout that time, if I had any plumbing, electrical, WiFi, or any other issues, they were quickly resolved when Jessie was made aware. For the price I paid, I am very happy with the living conditions provided. You get what you pay for, and you could easily end up paying twice as much for a place just as nice. Everything was cleaned prior to arriving, and as long as I cleaned before moving out (and didn't ruin anything) I received my security deposit back. In fact, I only lost a little of the security deposit because my cat scratched up a runner which they had to replace - very fair. Not sure what Jeff is talking about. Apartments have mice sometimes - that's normal. Must've been a bad tenant. Sure sounds like it.
