I sent a photo of the work that needed to be done and Powell did a fantastic job and gave me a price right away. Turn around time was 1 day and the cylinder head came out beautifully. I will be returning to him again soon.

Robert powell does great work, easy to talk to , humble guy . He does excellent machining work . On the spot quote, compared to other places “I have to talk to my boss about it , after he shows up someday” Took my 47re flexplate To Powell’s Machine to get redrilled , center pilot enlarged and Flat machined for my v10 , turned out great ! turnaround was just 2 days! I f you need engine parts custom machined , rebuilt , take it to this guy. His prices blew me away! I will most certainly take all my engine parts , heads , blocks , or anything else that needs precision machining To him and will recommend Powell’s Machine Shop to everyone!

I charge 300 on rebuilding those heads. That includes, pressure testing, cleaning, truing the seats and valves, setting factory valve height, testing valve springs, installing new valve stem seals, resurfacing any untrue faces, and assembly. And sorry Rick, but 110 would be losing money to redo that pair of heads.

The labor for a valve job is 200 on a pair of fe heads. You can call or text 760-983-6229 for a faster response.

If all you want done is the drilling and tapping for a 7/16 stud along the 16 holes it will be 80 bucks. But that's assuming the the head is stripped and all we are talking about is the accurate machine work that keeps the holes centered and true.
For a resurface its 40 if cams are out. If you want it completely rebuilt its 180
