Hands down the best shelter around. Very clean and you can tell the animals are happy & well cared for. Staff is professional & caring. Love this place!

Rude and won't take animals or help fix feral cats. Will only refer to rescue groups that don't help! I've been trying to get my outdoor feral cats that people dumped at my farm fixed for over a year and now I have another 15 cats outside because they won't give me an appointment for the female cats. I've filled out numerous applications. I was told at the beginning of July I could bring in two feral kittens if I tamed them. I caught them and tamed them and then spent two weeks calling the SPCA and leaving messages (since no one ever answers) with no response. I finally left a cryptic message not saying why I was calling and got a call back. The girl was extremely rude and told me they would not take my kittens because I wasn't on the surrender list that no one told me about a month ago. I said thanks and just hung up when she started to go into the spiel about rescue groups that won't actually help. I'm now stuck with two kittens I never would have tamed if the SPCA didn't originally say they would take them. Guess I'll go on craigslist and hope for the best. I did tell the girl that I was told they would do this to me and she goes, "There's no need to say that." Maybe not, but it's the truth. Also, please work on your phone skills. If you ignore phone calls for weeks at a time then can't handle talking to someone who is beyond frustrated. Ever since they built their new place and received all the fund-raising money the SPCA has changed. They used to return phone calls and actually help with animals. What was the point of all that fundraising and your big fancy new building?
