Great shelter for cats and kittens. They are loved and cared for. The cats have so much room to run free. The woman that runs it is terrific.

The care council is a small team doing a wonderful job of helping people take care of their cats. I had a wild pregnant cat give birth in my garage last year. I was able to bring all her kittens to animal care council (after 6 months) to get them spayed, neutered and rabies shots. I really appreciate the work they do.

They took in 3 kittens. They were very nice and helpful. One kitten was adopted within a week.

They dont rehome but you can contact S.P.E.A.K or project paw.
Thank you Vicki Worden, we have already answered Lisa’s question. 😊
They do take cats there
It doesn't say they do on their website. It only mentions cats and kittens. You could still call and find out for sure though.
They will take them, however they have a better than you attitude. And will not let you get any back. Now or ever.
Email them to get an answer.
I believe it is just the spay or neuter fee, which is around $80 iirc.
Hi Dakota, your cat must be at least 4 months old and weigh at least 4 lbs. In order to get your cat spayed at our clinic you must first pay for her appointment. We charge $80 for the spay, $10 for the 1st distemper (the 2nd you would have done at your vet 21-28 days later) and $10 for the rabies vaccination which is required by NY State law. If she already has a rabies vaccination, please bring her certificate with you so we can make a copy. You can also have her vet fax it to us at (607) 239-6551. You can pay by coming into our adoption center with cash in full during open hours: Tues & Thurs 12-6, Fri 12-5 & Sat 12-4. You can use PayPal on our website - www.animalcarecouncil.org - just visit our Spay/Neuter Clinic page. Once we receive your payment and either payment or proof of rabies we will call you and book your cat's appointment over the phone. You will find instructions at the top of the page on how to get the rabies certificate to us if applicable. Pam
On Wednesdays animal care council does spats/neutering for a reduced price. It's 90 for spaying plus rabies shot.
The kitten has to be 4 months, but take into consideration the waiting list. It can be weeks, even months of waiting.
Most inexpensive place around, i would recommend to anyone with fur children, and varies if they have their shots and if its male or female
It's a female calico
