Great, mostly level Greenway, with the exception of one really steep hill that ends at the Library.

What a pleasant surprise to find this excellent bike path (and walking trail) in Lenoir while on vacation. Nicely maintained, paved, and lots of varied scenery.

Lots of shaded areas and benches. I've only explored a small part of this Greenway so far but I'm excited to see all it has to offer.

There is a lot at the pin and some more lots along Pennel Street. I think you can also catch it behind the library parking lot.
They can't really "close" it because there aren't any gates to the Greenway or at the parking areas.
State law for kids, my friend and i ride all the time without helmets. But for safety sake is a good idea.
