Whiting Campground

Unfortunately this campground shares parking with a popular trailhead to hike Spanish Fork Peak. However they did not make the parking lot big enough and probably won't since instead they can make up rules like "parking on vegetation" with no signage and charge a dozen cars who had to park on the side of the road including mine $20 for violations. I was going to come back but it might not be for awhile due to the shameful tactics of the Utah Recreation Company.

Beautiful, quiet campground with a trailhead at the end of it. My children loved the little stream and playing in the rocks and trees. We will always cherish our memories here.

More than beautiful, many Falk leaves in the ground...and may still in the trees. Cook, shady, restful. Be aware they turned off the water for the winter yesterday. Bathroom& campground are open until the end of October.

Never camped, but there's a decent little trail through the campground from the bottom horse trailer parking. It gets a lot rockier if you go to the trailhead and up. The trail to Spanish fork peak is very steep, and not for the faint of heart. Left fork is less steep, but far less traveled as you get up there a ways.
