I went into food lion and the cashier Jaime was rude. I watched as he waited on a lady in front of me. Talking, take decent care with placing the groceries in the bag and greeted her. When it was my turn I didn't get a greeting, eye contact or common human respect. He then proceeded to wrap the receipt around my one item like not to touch my hand and proceeded to hand it to me without a bag. I guess the look on my face prompted him to ask if I wanted a bag. When handing me the bag he placed the item in the bag and with his hand still in the bag handed me the item, again as to not touch my hand. Mind you the reason this bothers me so much was because I watch the prior interaction. It left me smh and a lot unsatisfied with my visit. SHAME on you JAIME fir being so obvious with your dislike of me. This was cemented as while I was in line waiting to finish up, the customer behind me, a man was greeted and spoken to with that same respect given to the customer before me. My money may not matter to Food Lion in the scheme of things but even a dollar of mine won't be spent there. If there were 0 stars they would get it. This is the food line on Patterson in Tuckahoe. This happened about 420pm Sunday 6/19.
