Really a good Dental care with kids do recommend taking your kids but gave them only 3 stars since I was disappointed I took my 14 yr daughter for her filling and wanted to make an appointment myself and was told that they don't take adults if the insurance is Medical that's my only insurance I have is Medical and didn't accept it they accept kids with Medical but not Adults. Hopefully in a future they would accept them will totally consider making it a family dental care. Was going to change my dental care from Western Dental to Lifetime Dental Care. So sad.😔 Guess I stay there😭 wanted to change and try another dental care.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! I went here b/c I was told they were the only dentist who accepts my insurance who does sedation work on kids. I specifically told them I did NOT want metal fillings and even told them I would pay out of pocket for white fillings. The dentist lied & manipulated me into giving my 5 yr old daughter a mouth full of mercury metal fillings. He said that the resin/white fillings all have BPA and that they cannot fill children's molars with white fillings b\c they will just crumble and fall apart, thus requiring her to get more dental work. He also looked me square in the eye and said that there was 0% chance mercury would be leached into her system from the metal fillings. I have since spoken to other pediatric dentists and this is not the case at all, these other dentists have not used metal fillings for over 25 yrs b/c of mercury concerns and b/c they have to remove more healthy tooth for metal fillings which compromises the integrity of the tooth. They said the white fillings are just so much better. There is BPA free options of white fillings which most dentists use these days. I am SO mad and upset that Lifetime Dental bullied me into a procedure that I did not want. They initially told me they could do white fillings, but waited until the last minute to tell me she was going to get silver, after she was already drugged up and I didn’t have time to research what they were telling me and I didn’t feel like I could just leave. They also filled way more of her teeth than necessary. There were only two cavities at the way back that were of sufficient need to be filled, but they filled all 8 of her molars with metal. I believe there were some additional superficial spots that showed up on the X-ray, only one of which I could verify, but the other pediatric dentist in Santa Barbara that I have since spoke to told that if the cavities are only in the first layer of tooth they just watch it, because you can remineralize the tooth and prevent the need for fillings. I’m guessing Lifetime Dental must get paid by the filling b/c they filled way more than was necessary. My daughter left there screaming and I left there feeling violated and traumatized, when they could have just referred me to another dentist. I'm so upset I could scream! Do yourself and your children a favor, find a good dentist who uses BPA free white fillings and avoid this place if at all possible!!!

Please, anyone considering taking their kids here DO NOT. STAY AWAY. This place has horrible rude staff, that has no consideration for how your child is treated and approached. never leave them alone with their staff. I went there as a kid and they left me traumatized never wanting to go back. They were not at all gentle when handling my mouth and teeth.
