Your front end is no better then the back end at the pharmacy. Do you teach customer service..?? I've never had such bad service as I have at this specific CVS. Your Pharmacy doesn't seem they even want to take the effort to help. Either way, this entire store had a huge training opportunity.

This review is exclusively for an experience I just had at the pharmacy. And I want to preface this by saying: I work in customer service every day. In fact I just had a really trying day at my customer service job when I came to the pharmacy and this happened. I also work in a profession where customer privacy and discretion are important, so I’m particularly shocked and disappointed by this behavior. I received a text that said I had eight days left to pick up a prescription. I came to the pharmacy four days later. The woman asked me for my name (spelled out) and date of birth four times while chewing gum and looking completely disinterested. That’s fine - I work with hard of hearing people and people going through hard times and I don’t take these things personally. But then, she walks back to where they keep the prescriptions and yells “I don’t have anything for you.” I told her about the text and asked if she wanted to see it. She said “You can show me but I don’t have anything.” (?) Then she asked which med it was. I told her the first two letters as the text relayed them. She then shouts back “Oh that was for the (name of medication) and it’s expired now.” And then stared at me until I asked what it would take to get it refilled. Okay. Regardless of the fact that I came within the eight day period, and I was given no explanation or apology for why the med wasn’t there, and this woman kept looking at me like I was scum… the thing that upset me was that she YELLED the name of my medication aloud. I understand confirming meds at the counter. But this was a violation of my privacy in front of other customers and honestly it was so humiliating that I think I need to change pharmacies. I’ve had fine interactions with the people at the front counter and even some of the other pharmacists. But this is medical ethics 101. Reading other reviews, I sense others have had the same pharmacist I had today (or someone quite similar). So it seems this rudeness and lack of ethics has been going on for years and management doesn’t care. So so SO not okay.

Called to check and see that my dogs new anti-seizure prescription was received and when I could pick up- it had been faxed successfully 3 hours prior. The biggest issue is that the person answering the phone could not have spoken to me in a ruder tone of voice. It was like she was trying to project her hate for her job/humankind as a whole through the phone-and I was very nice up until I got fed up with her attitude. The next person I spoke to didn't have the rude tone thankfully, but lacked empathy and understanding. As a manager of customer service quality and training in a medical setting, I am sure this is an area to be improved upon. The other more chronic problem with all CVS locations is that they seem to have a huge issue with receiving faxed prescriptions. It goes through successfully on the providers end but somehow they don't receive it. Weird because as someone who works on the provider end, I know that no other pharmacies share the same issue receiving faxes. I just want to get my dog his seizure meds tonight, but that may not happen because CVS's fax system is the absolute worst. I have several chronic prescriptions filled there and I am thinking it is time to switch.

The two pharmacists were very rude and made me wait 30 minutes for my prescription while I was in the store. When I finally went in line to go pick it up they wouldn't give it to me because "they were closing for lunch" and I had to come back in another 30 minutes. Both very rude pharmacists and staff that never fill your prescriptions on time. I suggest just going to the Walgreens across the street.
