Omar Khayyam
Sadly the segment of history that RMN was involved with is truncated to deflect much of what he changed. No mention of his election promise to end the Vietnam War, nor mention of his discontinuation of the draft that slowed the protests. There is little mention of his enacting the EPA, Endangered Species Act or OSHA . A fair assessment is this is a monument to a man who was not, a mythical person. Given RMN'S voiced regrets about Watergate to David Frost, one expects RMN would be dissatisfied with this place .

Fantastic place inspiring people to cherish peace by avoiding conflicts and wars. A man who brought peace to the World deserves to be hailed.

Incredible tribute to an incredible man. We tend to focus on the one negative so it's important to remember all the good he did for our country and the world.
