I have been coming here for years . I'm 33 years old. Prior to discovering this wonderful establishment I could never get the right shoe size. They actually have this cool gadget that measures your feet in a very unique way. I was just here yesterday 9-13-22 and Breanna provided me with amazing customer service! Really great full for this shoe store , I will be continuing to do business here for many years to come !

I was getting fit for shoes last night when another customer walked in and an employee behind the desk raised her voice and was incredibly rude to him when he said he was looking for shoes. He said he didn’t know what he was looking for and she was harsh in telling him no one could help him. It was uncomfortable to watch and there were plenty of customer in the store receiving help. Later, I told the outfitter I was with that someone should tell the manager about that employees behavior and I was informed that it was the manager. Horrible management and customer service skills- I’m sad to see that happen at this location since it has always been my favorite and usually everyone is incredibly kind and patient.

I have been a faithful Fleet Feet shopper for many years. My experience has always been a positive one. Except for the last few, where I was basically nonexistent to the team members at the Lincoln Square location (my usual store), all of which appeared to think they were hanging out at the college pub chit chatting. I had finished a run and was walking home through Lincoln Square and popped in to see what was new (can never have enough running gear, am I right?!), so had on my Garmin, Rabbit tee, Saucony shorts, Brooks Glycerin, you get the picture. That said, even though I appeared to be a target customer, regardless of what I was wearing, I should have at least been acknowledged. Maybe just a smile? Anything? After starting at the front of store and working through to the back, a good 10 minutes, not a single person said one thing to me. I should mention, it appeared one of the kids was helping someone, I think. That is until I was walking out the door and the kid said “have a good night”. Huh? I did not even have the courtesy to reply. Appreciate Dave Zimmer and all he has done and continues to do for the running community, but I’ll go elsewhere from here on out. Yes, I’m just one person who won’t impact their bottom line, but unless you speak up, nothing will be done. Thank you for listening! 🏃🏻♀️

Yes, they sell running and walking styles. They will help you find what's best for your feet (shape) and on your stride (the way you walk). Let the shoe fitter know you need a walking shoe. They are well trained and very helpful.
Yes there is a pad you walk over repeatedly that images your gait. I believe it's free but I ended up buying shoes. Not sure if that makes a difference.
