I stopped into HarvesTime for snacks on a date a few years back, and I was so charmed that I moved to the neighborhood. Great service, fresh produce, a solid deli, and local, national, and international products. They simply have everything I want and need. My walks here to get fresh and minimally packaged goods has been one of my healthiest and cherished activities.

Harvestime is the best grocery store I've ever been to. It has an incredible array of ingredients and products from all over the world (and some great stuff that's local!) The prices are great. Produce is fresh. The staff are kind. It's never insanely crowded. We're moving away from Chicago soon, and it feels wild to say our grocery store is one of the things we'll miss most. But Harvestime has been the foundation of a lot of our best meals--and it's a rare luxury to have such a well-stocked, well-curated, well-priced grocery store nearby.

I was not there 4 months ago, as it says. But, I was there once perhaps 15 years ago- and, I really liked this store. They had specialty items from various places, like Hungary, one (or more) of the Balkan countries as well as some Mexican items, I believe.
