So I am fairly new here. In the MAT program. So far in the 4 months I've attended FCC, I was promised a great education, experience and knowledge. The administration department seemed to go for my weaknessess and make promises the education department didn't keep. I am almost 35 going back to school was hard enough without them juggling us around and make our experience here chaotic. They have switched my class and let me build a report with my Instructor to then rip me away and not even let me finish off with her. I have watched classmates with 8 months and plus be pulled in their last module right before they leave to embrace one of the biggest career moments of their lives and you switch them! And worst off no one face to face came and told us, we had to realize on our Soar our Instructors were changed. The tablets don't work, they give no books. We are paying so much money for books and tuition and we get a small 25$ bag of equipment. This is ridiculous.

Do not waste your time at this campus. I can’t speak for any of the other ones, but since coming to FCC Ive spent a lot of money to be here, as did all of my other classmates. My instructor Mrs. Necey is my biggest inspiration and the only reason I’ve made it as far as I have and without her I would have never been able to succeed in the way I have. Her hours have been cut significantly and it’s caused us to loose a lot of valuable time I need for an education I’m paying for. Our 8:30 am huddles were used for us to study our NHA exams, they cancelled it because administration said it’s not necessary, but have employers come to campus to interview us for a job that require a NHA certification after 90 days and will let you go if you fail. They set you up for failure here, save your money.

DO NOT COME HERE. The only good thing about this school is my instructor, Mrs. Necey. I come to find out of the month program 7 the administration decided to switch me and my other classmates into a new instructors class IN OUR LAST MONTH. We went to talk to someone about switching us back because Mrs. Necey is amazing at teaching and we all have thrived in her class and we are told basically nothing and that there’s nothing we can do. I don’t think this school is going to last long if they keep up the horrible way they run things. It’s not fair that we’re paying so much money for the medical assisting program and we can’t even keep our instructor for our last month.

I was at school 2018 for medical assistaant ,i went back for Dental assistant in 2020 ,thanks God now im workinf for the district as lead medical and dental great school im thinking going back for another class
