If you are serious about your golf game go to club craft and get fitted properly. I have been fitted incorrectly 2 times up north in the last 15 years where the fitting is free if you buy the clubs. With a proper 3 hour fitting Dave Donovan I was able to correct a flaw in my swing that I knew was there but couldn't quite figure out how to fix. If you are serious about your golf I promise you this will be the best $$ and time you will ever spend on golf. DD thank you for your professionalism and knowledge. I wish I met you 15 years ago. Unfortunately Club Craft was not the first place I went to; I had a fitting somewhere else and ultimately I was placed in the wrong shaft by another fitter. I played the clubs for about 6-8 rounds and didn’t like the feel or ball flight I was producing. Fast forward I made an appointment with Club Craft and worked with Richard M. first thing we did was go over the clubs I received and they didn’t even meet the specifications I was told I was getting the swing weights and lengths were totally off. Richard worked with me, spent a lot of time with me and found the right shafts for my swing. I sent the clubs back to the original fitter and had them replace the shafts to the specifications Richard and I found that suited my game the best. I came back and got fitted for my woods and I’m about to upgrade my driver shaft. There was no pressure or hard sell with Richard and at the end of the day I felt like Richard was really just interested in seeing my game improve. I’m sold on Club Craft and Richard and wish I came here first!!! **Update 10/13/2021: If you haven’t been to JoeyD Golf or Club Craft and you live in the area your missing out big time!! I drove from Miami to see Dave Donovan to get fitted for some new clubs. I was there in 2018 and had an amazing experience then and not much has changed since then. However I’ve had a two year lay-off due to two shoulder surgeries and thought my swing and clubs needed an update due to some limitations. After Dave reviewed my swing and current set up, we actually just made a tweak to my swing and I immediately started hitting the ball and seeing the data/ numbers from trackman that I haven’t seen in a very long time. Dave suggested we hold off on new clubs; I don’t believe any big box golf store or club fitter would have been that honest and would have looked for a quick sale.. Dave has not only earned my trust but he’s earned a loyal customer for life!! Thank you Double D!!

Dave at ClubCraft is the best in the business. His knowledge and enthusiasm made my fitting such a great experience. His coaching got my swing fixed up and ready for a new set of sticks. He spent extra time with me to ensure I was satisfied and excited about the clubs I was fit for. If you’re in the West Palm Beach/Jupiter/South Florida take the time to get fit with Dave at ClubCraft! Many thanks and can’t wait to hit the course with my new clubs!

Questions & Answers

i have a HONMA 737- 460 driver that sets up face closed. Can you bend the hosel or cut it off and reweld it to set up 2 degrees open?

Hi Joe. Thanks for the question! As much as we'd like Gigi to be correct in this case (appreciate your faith in us!) unfortunately, that particular Honma driver head is non-adjustable. It was not designed to be bent at the hosel. The only option to get to 2 degrees open would be to re-shaft the head in a square position. HOWEVER, that would change the loft and effectively turn your driver into another lofted club -- which we guess you would not want. Fortunately most modern driver heads are adjustable these days and offer much more versatility. If you're in the area, please come see us for a complimentary equipment assessment and we can dig into some solutions with you. Thanks for the opportunity to work with you!
