Oil change only is about $40 depending if you're going with synthetic oil or regular (cheaper). The problem is that Jiffy Lube sort of hustles your car into a diagnostic exam which tells them all about everything plus your oil situation. Transmission, air filters, wipers, coolants,etc. All this costs extra and if you don't say 'no' early and often when they give you the rundown after the diagnostic tests you can be looking at a $200 bill when all you wanted was an oil change. They do an ok job with the oil change I suppose. But be sure to tell them an oil change is all you want. They start their sales pitch the moment they approach you so don't back off your stance.
I would get jiffy lubes regional managers phone number and ask what your options are, if it was alot of money i would have called the police on the spot.... good luck
